Reporter Seongdae Moon = Shin Ji-ae (35) is on the verge of winning the opening match of the 2023 season of the Japan Women’s Professional Golf (JLPGA) tour.
Shin Ji-ae recorded a 7 under par 65 in the third round of the Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf Tournament (total prize money of 120 million yen) held at Ryukyu Golf Club (par 72, 6,560 yards) in Okinawa, Japan on the 4th. 스포츠토토
Shin Ji-ae, who shot her interim total of 9-under-par 207, moved into her sole lead. Shin Ji-ae widened the gap to her runner-up, Nanako Ueno (Japan, 7 under par, 209 strokes).
Shin Ji-ae aims for the top spot on the Japanese stage in about a year and eight months after winning the Taito Gentaku Ladies in July 2021. She will challenge for her 29th win on the JLPGA Tour in her career.
Shin Ji-ae recorded 62 wins in her professional career, including 20 wins on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour and 11 wins on the US Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour.
