토스카지노“Let’s go fearless!”
That’s the message from Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bissett as he returns from a knee injury to a team in the midst of a tough postseason run.
“To be honest with you, I think our team needs to get rid of the fear,” Bissett said in an interview ahead of the Blue Jays’ game against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Tuesday.

Having watched the team play from the sidelines during his rehabilitation, he added: “I think for any team to achieve something special, you need to get rid of fear. You have to go without fear. I want to lead the team by example,” he said.
Toronto is now 67-56 and in the fourth wild-card spot in the American League. To make the postseason, they must overtake the third-place Seattle Mariners, who hold a half-game lead. If they tie, they’ll fall to fourth place by tiebreaker calculation.
“At this point, every team is tough to beat. Even the teams at the bottom want to spoil the teams that are trying to make the postseason. These are big league guys. You have to go out there and give it your all. You have to focus on what’s going right instead of worrying about what’s going wrong,” he said, emphasizing the need to fight to the fullest without regard to the opponent.
After injuring his right knee during a home game against the Baltimore Orioles on August 1, he said, “I definitely came back faster than I expected,” adding, “I just focused on one day at a time. I tried to take the rehab process as seriously as I could, and I was just thinking about coming back as soon as possible. I told myself to put myself in a position to help the team when I came back. I think I handled it well,” he said of his rehabilitation, which lasted just over two weeks.
“I wanted to come back as soon as possible, but at the same time, I was smart about it. “I wanted to come back as soon as I could, but at the same time, I was smart about it. I thought it was better to come out well-rested than to come off the plane with no sleep and play right away,” he said of his decision to delay his return by a day.
Bissett will start at second base tonight. “We’re expecting him to be able to play shortstop every day,” Toronto manager John Schneider said, adding that Bissett should be able to step right into the starting shortstop role upon his return.
“We’ll see what happens, but I’m ready to play shortstop every day,” Bissett said.
