Hanwha and NC’s starting alternatives. The two young futures are having trouble becoming the present.
Kim Seo-hyun started a Futures League game against the Doosan Bears in Icheon on June 6, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits (one home run) with three walks and two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. He wasn’t very efficient, throwing 75 pitches. His fastball topped out at 154 mph and averaged 145 mph, but he couldn’t capitalize on his offspeed stuff.
In the bottom of the first inning, he gave up a two-run homer to Kim Dae-hyun on a bunt single. Two batters later, a walk put runners on first and third, but he struck out to end the inning.
In the second inning, a double and a wild pitch put runners on first and third, but he got the next batter to ground out to the pitcher.
Tied at 2-2, he struck out the first three batters of the third.
However, in the bottom of the fourth inning, three consecutive hits led to two runs on an infield error with no outs.바카라사이트 Kim Seo-hyun was replaced by Kim Bum-joon with runners on first and second. Once again, he was unable to settle down as he left a lot of runners on base. He needs to overcome his inability to take advantage of walks and strikeouts. Hanwha won the game 8-7.

On the same day, NC’s Jeon Jae-min got hammered in a Futures League game against KT in Masan.
He gave up 12 runs on 11 hits and three walks in the first three innings, leading to an 8-22 loss for his team. He threw a whopping 93 pitches in three innings and was not very efficient.
In the top of the first inning, a walk and a single put runners on first and third, but they were safe at home. Runners at first and second on a double to Hwang, 0-2. Runners at second and third on back-to-back walks, 3-2. The bases were loaded and three more runs scored on three consecutive hits.
Gave up a leadoff single in the second, but got a popup and a groundout to end the inning. Things seemed to settle down.
But in the third inning, things fell apart again.
After a leadoff walk, three straight singles were followed by a sacrifice fly by Ryu Hyun-in. Choi Jeong-tae hit a double to put runners on first and second, and Kang Min-sung hit a three-run homer to left field for the 12th run.
Jeon was replaced by Noh Si-hoon in the fourth inning with the score 2-11. He has a fastball that touches 150 mph and a good changeup, but his mechanics are still holding him back.
Both teams are facing a tight end-of-season schedule, including doubleheaders, and will need to find alternate starters. We’re anxiously awaiting the awakening of the two tall fireballers. For now, it looks like they’ll need a little more time.
