SSG Landers infielder Choi Jung (36) hits a solo home run.

메이저놀이터Choi Jung started at third base and hit a solo home run off Kiwoom bullpener Lee Myung-jong in the bottom of the eighth inning in a home game against the Kiwoom Heroes at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Nov. 31.

With the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning, Choi took a 121 mph slider right down the middle of the plate. The home run gave the team a crucial tiebreaker in a 1-2 game.

It was Choi’s 24th home run of the season, closing in on Noh Si-hwan’s (Hanwha) 29.

With Choi’s solo home run, the SSG Landers became the seventh team in KBO history to reach 3,300 home runs.
