1st place Hyundai E&C ended its losing streak.
Hyundai E&C won a set score 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-21) in the 5th round of the Dodram 2022-2023 season V-League Women’s Division GS Caltex held at the Suwon Indoor Gymnasium on the 2nd.
Hyundai E&C, which had lost two consecutive matches recently, was physically exhausted. As the long-term absence of foreign players continued for more than a month, the key players showed poor physical condition. Following the loss against GS Caltex on January 20th, the road construction match on January 24th was also completely defeated.
Fortunately, the All-Star break seems to have helped a lot. Hyundai Engineering & Construction launched an onslaught on the day, with four players, Hwang Yeon-ju, Yang Hyo-jin, Jeong Ji-yoon, and Hwang Min-kyung, scoring double-digit points.
Hyundai E&C, which was being chased by Heungkuk Life Insurance in second place and unable to add points due to consecutive losses, took a breather while escaping the losing streak. 메이저놀이터
After the game, coach Kang Seong-hyeong of Hyundai Engineering & Construction laughed, saying, “It’s fortunate that my physical strength has been restored. I was worried a lot, but it seems that the overall recovery has come out with good performance.” But carelessness is forbidden. Coach Kang said, “I don’t know how long this stamina will last (I don’t know). I think the direction will be decided sooner or later. I’m looking for a replacement player, and I’m worried that Yasmin won’t get better all at once. Still, I’m glad the players overcame and did well. Next Heungkuk Life Insurance It’s before, but I think I’ll come out with a good performance.”
Jeong Ji-yoon, who was the ‘key player’ on this day, also performed well. Director Kang Seong-hyung said, “There were shaky scenes, but there were too many good scenes. He did a good job of receiving and blocking. I think Ji-yoon played his role well enough today.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai E&C will face Heungkuk Life Insurance in Suwon on the 7th after a four-day break. It is a ‘big match’ between the 1st and 2nd place teams.
